Yevpatoria is a world-known health resort for children. Children's Health and Leisure Resort ”Sokol” is located on nine hectare of coastal strip in the most beautiful area of Yevpatoria – Zaozernoe village. Nature has centered here unique health and recreation conditions, such as shallow sea bay, soft healing sand, air saturated with phytoncids and sea aerosols, therapeutic mud, and salt lake brine.

Amongst magnificent alleys of endemic and exotic plants, in close proximity to the sea two four-storey blocks for 600 beds, a modern canteen for 610 seats, two cottages for 40 beds are situated. The Resort has available a gym, a therapeutic physical training room, volleyball and soccer grounds, a well-organized separate beach with a gently sloping shore, an open-air stage and cinema, a library, and a shower located in the maintenance area.

Five-time meal abounds in fruits and vegetables. For our guests to enjoy the Crimean places of interest we arrange sightseeing trips and boat tours. The Resort is recommended for health improvement of children from environmentally unfriendly areas, for prevention of upper airways and lungs diseases of non-tubercular origin, chronic nasopharynx diseases, such as tonsillitis, adenitis, nasolaryngitis, inflammations of pneumatic spaces.

We offer such treatment modes as climate therapy, ultrasonic inhalation, d'arsonvalization, therapeutic physical training, and massage as needed. Children's Health and Leisure Resort ”Sokol” functions from June till September. Duration of one session is 21 days. Arrival and departure of children are well organized (a transfer service from the train station to the resort and back comes with the cost).

Our carefully planned day and resting time regimen, home-like food, delicious pastry, fresh fruits and vegetables help children to grow up and improve in health within one session, which is proved by 50-years experience of work with children that keep coming to our Resort every summer.

The Resort is situated in an environmentally pristine zone, Zaozernoe village, which is 8km away from a railway station. Yevpatoria is the sunniest resort in Crimea. It is justly called the Town of the Sun. The resort is known for its sunbathing and sea swimming possibilities.

Accommodations: cottages with bunk beds and rooms for 9-10 persons; two bedroom blocks, named “Birch” and “Oak”, with rooms for 3-5 persons with toilet, bidet, washstands on the floor. Stationary shower is in a separate building. There is an outdoor shower on the beach. Groups consist of 30-35 children of the same age.

Meals are five times per day. All meals are prepared from ecologically pure foodstuffs. We arrange movie demonstrations, talks and discussions, meetings with remarkable people and creative teams, and discos. The library is at children’s disposal. The Local History Museum of Yevpatoria, a 25 century-old town, has a lot of archaeological and ethnographical displays to explore.

At extra cost we arrange sea tours, tours to dolphinarium, the South Coast of Crimea, Sevastopol, Bakhchisarai, staged photography, and concerts. We invite children of seven years old and over without severe health disorders and asthmatic signs. Children are in charge of counselors round-the-clock. A transfer service from Yevpatoria train station comes with the cost. If need be, we offer a transfer service from Simferopol at extra cost. Duration of one session is 21 day according to schedule.

The camp has professional medical staff, the service is free of charge. The sandy beach is equipped with sun sheds, beach beds, changing rooms, and drinking fountains. The sea floor is stony. An outdoor shower, medical and life-saving stations are available.
